Community Involvement | Faricy Jeep | Colorado Springs

Marine Corps veteran Dustin Gabehart and his family receive a payment-free vehicle from Freedom Alliance and US Bank in Colorado Springs

We have been a Colorado family business since 1942, in the same communities, for three generations. Giving back here is not a campaign — it is the natural consequence of being from somewhere.

Below is what that has looked like, in the words of the organizations themselves rather than ours.

Our Partners

Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado

Care and Share Food Bank

“The Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado is proud to partner with Faricy Automotive. They are far more than a donor, they are true partners in our mission, participate in the work, and share our commitment to ensuring every neighbor in Southern Colorado has access to nutritious food.

For more than a decade, we have been able to count on Faricy Automotive’s kindness, generosity, and support. Their partnership has helped provide hundreds of thousands of pounds of food to neighbors and families across the twenty-nine counties we serve, the same area Faricy Automotive covers.

We are grateful for their continued investment in our mission and the massive impact they make on the lives of our neighbors every day. I consider our long-standing relationship a model to emulate.”

Nate Springer, President and CEO

Children's Hospital Colorado, Colorado Springs

Children’s Hospital Colorado

“Since 2016, Children’s Hospital Colorado has had the unwavering and generous support of Faricy Automotive. First, as our event sponsors, then as our key volunteers for our Southern Colorado Advisory Committee and now as major donors who have allowed us to initiate new services for our patients and families. We are truly grateful for not only their incredible philanthropic support but also for their deep understanding and appreciation of our mission — to bring world-class care to every child who needs us.”

Greg Raymond, President — SOCO Care System

Springs Rescue Mission

Springs Rescue Mission

“When I think of businesses that leverage their success to help others, Faricy Automotive is at the top of the list. Because of their care, homeless men and women in the Pikes Peak region find healing like never before. Their work with Springs Rescue Mission to provide health programs, employment training, and housing navigation is helping Colorado Springs become one of the top cities in the nation addressing homelessness. This community is different because businesses like Faricy Automotive care about serving others in meaningful ways.”

Travis Williams, CEO

Fostering Hope Foundation

Fostering Hope Foundation

“When Zee put on his work uniform from Faricy Automotive, he walked three inches taller. As a teen who spent most of his life in foster care, he found a place where he truly belonged, and his self-worth could shine. For years, Faricy Automotive has partnered with Fostering Hope to make our community better for youth like Zee. While some businesses think charitable work is the job of nonprofits, Faricy Automotive recognizes that all of us have a part to play in helping our communities thrive.”

Brian Newsome, Executive Director

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

“Faricy Automotive is one of our top-level donors, and their longtime support of Cheyenne Mountain Zoo means the world to us. As one of the few nonprofit accredited zoos that does not receive tax support, Faricy’s support has helped us to build innovative new habitats for animals, conserve endangered species in the wild, and connect people of all ages to wildlife and wild places. We’re so grateful for Faricy’s community leadership. You help make Colorado Springs an incredible place to visit and to call home.”

Kelley Parker, Chief Advancement Officer

Catholic Charities of Central Colorado

Catholic Charities of Central Colorado

“Faricy Automotive has long been recognized as a top community supporter for many Colorado Springs nonprofits, including Catholic Charities. Whether sponsoring an event, providing help with our auction, or even donating a cow for our Marian House Kitchen, Faricy Automotive is always willing and happy to help us. Their support helps Catholic Charities to keep so many local families and individuals safely housed and fed. We count ourselves fortunate to be among the local nonprofits that Faricy Automotive supports!”

Sarah Tremmel, Chief Advancement Officer

Honoring Those Who Served

Faricy participates in the Freedom Alliance and US Bank vehicle donation program, which gives payment-free vehicles to wounded veterans and their families. Most recently we supplied a new Jeep Grand Cherokee for Marine Corps veteran Dustin Gabehart and his family.

Why We Do It

Care and Share serves twenty-nine counties in southern Colorado. That is, almost exactly, the same ground we cover — Colorado Springs, Cañon City, Salida and everywhere between. Their words, not ours.

That overlap is the whole point. When a business has been somewhere for eighty-four years, the people it serves and the people it supports are the same people. Our customers’ kids go to these schools. Our employees volunteer at these organizations. Supporting them is not separate from running the business here — it is part of it.
