Spring Into Adventure With Two Different Wrangler Models
The 2025 Wrangler offers you two different models to fit your needs. The standard Wrangler is a two-door Jeep that seats up to four passengers. This one gives you 12.9 cu.ft. of cargo space in the back, with the ability to increase this to 31.7 cu.ft. by folding down the rear row of seats. The Wrangler Unlimited is larger, with four doors and the ability to seat up to five passengers. It also has more trunk space, with a full 31.7 cu.ft. of space behind the second row. Like with the two-door Wrangler, you can increase this by folding down the back row, giving you an impressive 72.4 cu.ft. of cargo space. This can come in handy when you decide to take a shopping trip to the Old Colorado City Historic District.
You also get a great choice of engines on the 2025 Wrangler. In a change from the prior yearās model, Jeep has decided to offer each of the two engines with a specific transmission. The larger 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 comes paired with a six-speed manual transmission. This is a change, as the engine used to be offered with an available eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine provides 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque.
If you want the ease of an automatic transmission, you can opt for the available 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4 gas engine. This comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission and will give you an output of 270 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. All Wrangler models come with standard four-wheel drive, so you will get exceptional traction no matter which one you choose.
Bring the Outdoors Inside With Open-Air Freedom
Right near Colorado Springs is the Broadmore Seven Falls. This area is truly gorgeous and a place that you are going to want to experience without windows in your way. This is why Jeep offers the 2025 Wrangler with removable doors and roof panels. This feature is the same regardless of which model you choose and whether your Wrangler has a hard top or soft top.
Removing the doors and windows isnāt that difficult. Simply roll down the windows, remove any door check straps, and follow the other instructions for your Wrangler model. If you have any young children who will be riding with you in your Wrangler when you have the doors and roof off, you might consider getting a set of Mopar tube doors or web safety straps for the door areas.
Choosing the Right Four-Wheel Drive System
The 2025 Wrangler comes with standard four-wheel drive, but the system you choose will have an impact on your Jeepās performance. There are four different systems in all, two of which are full-time four-wheel drive. The other two are part-time systems, meaning you have to manually switch depending on weather and road conditions.
Most of the 2025 models feature the Command-Trac part-time four-wheel drive system. This has four different drive modes: 2High, 4High, 4Low, and neutral. Switching between them must be done manually. The 2High is meant for traveling on a paved road, while 4High and 4Low will depend on the conditions of the trail you are driving on. This system comes standard on the Sport, Sport S, Willys, and Sahara trims.
The Rubicon and Rubicon X trims of the 2025 Wrangler have a Rock-Trac heavy-duty part-time four-wheel drive system. This is paired with a 4:1 low-range transfer case designed for serious off-roading. This works in the same way as the Command-Trac part-time system but gives you greater traction when off-roading.
You can also opt for one of two different full-time systems, the Selec-Trac four-wheel drive system and a full-time version of the Rock-Trac four-wheel drive system. These include an additional 4High Auto mode that can be manually engaged. When the driver engages this setting, the system will actively distribute torque between the front and rear axles depending on the traction needs of your Wrangler.
Standard and Available Features Make the Wrangler Trail Rated
Every 2025 Jeep Wrangler proudly wears a Trail Rated badge. This is not given but rather earned by the model. This means that it has passed a series of rigorous tests for traction, water fording, ground clearance, articulation, and maneuverability. This lets you know that your Wrangler can handle whatever you may encounter when you are off-roading on the trails around Colorado Springs.
Jeep gives you peace of mind by including a set of standard and available features on each 2025 Wrangler model. The set of skid plates will shield the fuel tank, transmission, and transfer case from any debris you may encounter out on the trail. Without these skid plates, the undercarriage of your Jeep will be left vulnerable. You also get three tow hooks, two in the front and one in the rear. This will allow you to winch yourself out of any tight spot or pull another vehicle that may be stuck on the trail.
Getting the right amount of traction requires more than just the standard four-wheel drive on your Jeep Wrangler. This is also the result of every model featuring Dana front and rear solid axles, which are more durable for off-road usage. They improve traction by increasing the articulation of the suspension. Some models also have locking differentials to prevent slippage and skidding. For example, the Willys trim features a rear locker, while the Rubicon has front and rear locking differentials. If you think you may be off-roading in muddy conditions, then choosing a Jeep Wrangler with locking differentials will be your best bet.
Staying Connected and Entertained Wherever Your Wrangler Takes You
Jeep has equipped the 2025 Wrangler with the Uconnect system on a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen. This is the largest standard screen for any infotainment system featured in the Wranglerās class. This will make accessing your favorite apps and viewing important information easier than ever.
The Uconnect system literally helps you stay connected. Simply connect your phone via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, and you are ready to make hands-free calls and texts. The system will also allow you to stream your favorite apps so you can choose a playlist for your next adventure. Perhaps you will make one that works perfectly for a trip to North Cheyenne CaƱon Park. With the Uconnect system in the Wrangler, you get to stay entertained and connected wherever your Jeep takes you.
